PURUSOL RP-1 VS. PURUSOL RP-1+

One of the primary advantages of RP-1+ is its narrow density specification, enhancing the reproducibility of the fuel. The fuel has a narrow distillation range, which delivers excellent fuel consistency from batch to batch enabling engine tuning to maximize thrust. Another significant advantage of RP-1+ is that is contains effectively zero aromatics, in contrast to regular RP-1, which may contain 5% aromatics. These aromatic compounds reduce the net heat of combustion. Additionally, RP-1+ contains zero Olefins, while RP-1 may contain up to 2% Olefins.
