PURUSOL RP-1 VS. PURUSOL RP-1+ 

One of the advantages of RP-1+ is its narrow density specification, enhancing the reproducibility of the fuel. Additionally, its narrow distillation range delivers excellent fuel consistency from batch to batch, enabling engine turning to maximize thrust. Another significant advantage of RP-1+ is that it contains effectively zero aromatics versus regular RP-1, which may contain up to 5% aromatics, which can reduce the net heat of combustion. RP-1+ also contains zero olefins while RP-1 may contain up to 2% olefins.
